Staging the showroom digitally

For Audi's new, digitally driven showroom concept I owned, as UX project manager, the Showroom Staging Portal (SIP), a multimedia management platform rolled out internationally and multilingually. I sat on-site at Audi in Ingolstadt for about a year, acting like an internal employee.

Task and solution

Operated like a TV guide

Replacing print with showroom screens required a way to control digital content. SIP lets dealers schedule content via the metaphor of a TV guide, morning, noon and afternoon across the seven days of the week: central Audi content, dealer-configurable and self-editable content such as offers, prices and service hours.

With Audi TV the portal became a true multimedia platform.
Steering

Multilingual, international rollout

Cross-functional alignment on-site, extension of the underlying SCALA! technology and a multilingual rollout that began abroad.
